Yas American Academy is on a journey to become recognized as a school of character, developing a set of specific values to support our learning community. Using the ‘West Yas Way’ as our guiding principle, we look to develop values and virtues that develop students holistically and provide them with skills and characteristics to enhance their ability to become leaders of our future generation.
These values have been integrated into our curriculum, and the character traits we have focused on have already developed students to take accountability for facets that make them unique. Traits such as Integrity, Resilience, Reliability, Perseverance, and Compassion have been brought to life through direct links with academic studies and our extensive pastoral provision to provide all students with an opportunity to develop and consolidate these skills.
